Before delivery
Crates and pallets are unloaded with a tail-lift or pallet truck, so the delivery point needs level, hard standing — no grass, gravel, steps or kerbs. Tell us at checkout if access is tricky and we'll find a way.

Only burn fuel your appliance is designed for. Check your stove's manual, and check whether you live in a smoke control area — in one, you may only burn authorised fuels or use an exempt appliance. Your local council can tell you.
Keep it off the ground and under cover, with air able to move around it. A shed, a log store or a covered stack all work. Keep bagged fuel indoors or well covered, and away from damp.
